Copy the pose
We ask for a random pose — turn your head to your left, tilt it to your right. You take it live, within sixty seconds, so it cannot be a photo you already had.
Step 2
We compare it
The selfie is matched against the photos on your profile. It takes a few seconds. If it does not match, the profile does not go live.
Step 3
The selfie is deleted
It never appears on your profile and it is not kept afterwards — not by us, and not by Amazon, whose face-matching service does the comparison. All that remains is a verified mark.

Why this exists

Most gay dating apps were built for a Saturday night in 2012. They are loud, they are full of accounts nobody ever checked, and they make their money selling what they learn about you.

If you have been doing this a while you have probably had the same week more than once: forty messages, three real people, and one who was never going to turn up.

GayLinkup is deliberately smaller. Everyone verifies. Nothing about you is sold. You can write to anyone without paying, because charging for the only thing the site is for never made much sense.

Where it works
